CiRcUs!

We went to the circus and it was so much fun. Kenzie loved seeing the anilmals. They had goats that were riding horses. Elephant that were playing. She didn't really care for the acrobat stuff but I thought that it was cool. I bet that next year she will enjoy it alot more.

Birthday Traditions!

I am trying to make it a tradition that for Makenzies birthday we get her pictures taken and she gets to make a Build-A-Bear.

So far I have kept up on it but then it has only been 2 years. She loves getting to make the build a bear. Last year for her 1st birthday she helped me make the bear and it was tinkerbell.

This year I let her do all of the picking and we left the shop with a fisherman monkey.

Of course her dad was proud. It was cute, I just wanted some sort of girlie one, but oh well.

These are our first official family photos as well. I finally talked Solomon into getting them done and I am very happy with the results. It will probably be another 5 years before we get another one done!

Potty Training

So we have started a new trial in our lives. On sunday I decided to start potty training Makenzie and I can tell you that it is not an easy task. On the first day she went through 15 pairs of panties. I was ready to pull my hair out. The next day was better but the whole process (according to the "Potty Train in 3 Days" book) was only going to take 3 days. I am on day four and we still have about 3 accidents a day. Which yes is better then 15 but still rough. I will keep you posted on how things are going by day 30.
